Bailey bridge...
A prefab portable bridge, designed for military use, with a maximum range of 64 meters. It does not require specific tools nor a heavy equipment to be constructed, its elements being small enough to be carried by truck and the bridge strong enough to allow for the passage of tanks.
It is considered as a military engineering example.
